Thoughts from the Right Side

Remember Chuck Woolery the game show host? He has a conservative, sensible 8 point plan to save a few trillion bucks for the U.S. taxpayer. Trillions begin to add up, don't they. Remember when a billion was considered big bucks? It still is. Check him out at SaveUsChuckWoolery.com. Great work, Chuck !

> Weaselzippers.us on 10-3-11 had a picture of the Chevrolet Volt and the message "Malaise on wheels - the official automobile of the Obama regime." Volts had a way of melting down - literally. Let's hope they have corrected that shortcoming.

> "We need a Ronald Reagan, not a Mitt Romney," says GodfatherPolitics.com, located in Dallas, Georgia. I live about a mile from the Ronald Reagan Parkway in Gwinnett County and drive on it and often under it - now a speed trap at times. Speedtrap.org - a good money-saving site.

> "By keeping people dependent on government, liberals are assured a power base from which to operate." - GodfatherPolitics.com

> My favorite Democrat is South Carolina's Alvin Greene, the surprise winner of the 2010 Demoleft U.S. Senate Primary, which gave him the chance to be crushed by Republican Jim DeMint, a great American, in the November 2010 general election. Alvin Greene won the primary by 18 points, 59 - 41 percent, even without campaigning, not passing out any literature, seldom uttering a complete sentence, zippo personality, arrogant, appearing hostile to all interviewers, and ousting the Democrat establishment candidate.

> Bumper sticker of the day : Ban the ATF, Not Guns

> " Jews should be the last people on earth to support gun control." - Aaron Zelman (1946-2010) founder, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership JPFO.org Guaranteed - as feisty an anti-gun control site as you will ever see.

> Regarding President John F. Kennedy and the affair with the then-19 year-old intern, now speaking out at age 69, the media did a fine job in covering up for those paragons of virtue, the Kennedy boys, didn't they.

> In the 1990s we were shutting down military bases in the USA and building them overseas, says Congressman Ron Paul. He points out that he gets twice the donations from active military personnel than all his competitors combined. Does this tell you something? Dr. Paul's toll-free Congressional update number is 1-888-322-1414.

> Most televised political chat shows are worthless but one worth watching is Georgia Gang on Sunday mornings at 8:30 on TV 5 in Atlanta. Tape it if you're in church at that hour. To me it is informative and the panelists are polite - imagine that.

> " If one person in America had starved over the last 20 years, you, reader, would know his name. The media would see to that. It would be the most thoroughly documented death since John Kennedy's. " - Joseph Sobran (1946-2010) Sobran.com

> Have you noticed that when a conservative gets to the point quickly, a smart political trait, he/she is accused of oversimplification. Barry Goldwater in 1964 was quick and clear in his comments, so naturally he got the "oversimplification" smear. Witty one-liners uttered by Republicans are portrayed as mean-spirited comments, of course. Remember when the humorless media claimed Bob Dole was Gerald Ford's "hit man" in 1976? Bob Dole is about the nicest person you could ever find and is not particularly conservative.

> The Massachusetts State Senate in June 2010 had 35 Demos, 5 Repubs. One of the Republicans was Scott Brown, now in the U.S. Senate.

> How about Ann Coulter for president ? She's fairly young and looks good, is brilliant, and is hated by liberals - a triple crown winner ! She would be a fine example of physical fitness - no excess weight there at all. Even better, she has never held public office. Liberals would get the chance to yap a lot about polarization too.
