Kids Enabled™ Hosts Brain Health and Nutrition Speaker Series

Kids Enabled™, Atlanta based 501(c)(3) non-profit, announces the third seminar in their Brain Health and Nutrition Speaker Series. The educational seminar will take place on September 23 at Schenck School from 6 - 9 p.m. In keeping with the organization's vision to create an informed community where all children with learning differences have the resources to reach their full potential, the seminar will feature keynote speaker, Sherry Pruitt, MEd, ET/P, who will share her knowledge of and experience with executive dysfunction.

Executive Dysfunction affect's one's planning, flexibility, organization and self-monitoring. It is important at every stage of development but peaks during late adolescent years. Awareness to the effects of executive dysfunction on learning is paramount in helping children succeed. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask their most pressing questions and get an informed answer from the panel. In addition to the expertise lent by the speaker and panelists, there will be sponsors and exhibitors to add resources for attendees.
