Susan Fessler Purchases Morris & Raper Intown

Atlanta real estate mainstay Morris & Raper Intown is now owned by broker Susan Fessler, previously with Morris & Raper Realtors®. The general brokerage firm represents both resale properties and new home communities.

In addition to serving traditional clients, Fessler plans to continue working with foreclosure and short-sale clients as well as with vulture funds and capital groups who wish to sell their investments. Morris & Raper Intown will maintain its growth in general brokerage services through a focus on new agent recruitment, training and support.

Fessler joined Morris & Raper Realtors® as the Director of Business Development in January 2010 after a successful 14 years as an agent and broker in Tennessee. Fessler started her real estate career in general brokerage before moving into the acquisition and development side of the industry, giving her a full range of real estate experience.

She successfully developed the Chattanooga new homes division for Crye-Leike Realtors®, out-performing expectations in a new business model for the company. Fessler consistently ranked among the top 10 producers in Chattanooga throughout her career there. Since joining Morris & Raper Realtors®, Fessler has learned the Atlanta market under the tutelage of Morris & Raper Realtors® Founder Gail Raper, and she has established key relationships with bankers, developers and builders.

Morris & Raper Intown is a boutique-style operation established in 2001. The company will keep its current office space in the Mayfair Complex across from the W Hotel in Midtown. The 10,000-square-foot space is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment today's tech-savvy agents need to grow their businesses.

Under the leadership of principles Gail Raper and Janis Kirtz, Morris & Raper Realtors® will continue to service its full spectrum of clients, including multiple new home communities in the Greater Atlanta area. Kirtz will lead an expansion of the firm's consulting services to include more investors, developers and builders. Marketing Results, a full-service advertising and marketing firm led by Laura Watkins, will continue to provide advertising services for the Morris & Raper Intown group, the Morris & Raper Realtors® group, and additional clients.
