The Eastside Region of Gwinnett will soon welcome its very own slice of Midtown dining, BISTRO STYLE! Gary's Bistro, the highly anticipated neighborhood venue, will open to the public at The Avenue Webb Gin in Lawrenceville on September 3, 2010! A Grand Opening Celebration weekend with special activities will follow later in September on the 17th and 18th.

There are many unique amenities that set Gary's Bistro apart from other dining establishments. In addition to being locally owned, Gary's Bistro will be managed under the direction of Executive Chef and Operator, Tess Sanek, who studied Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu. Sanek began her career in 2004 working in a small independent restaurant in Buckhead. In 2006, Sanek progressed to larger corporate kitchens which then lead to W Hotels in Atlanta and Chicago where the focus became banquets and catering. Gary's Bistro is Sanek's debut as Executive Chef and Operator.

Gary's is committed to operating an environmentally friendly Bistro, specializing in fresh and organic ingredients procured from our local farmers' outlets. Serving the freshest "house-made" cuisine, menu items such as Bruschetta, Stuffed Dates, Fried Green Tomato and Mozzarella, Roasted Thyme Chicken, and Gourmet Pizzettes are sure to please the taste buds. The menu also features

a variety of beef, lamb and seafood Entrées. Also a tempting treat, Gary's delicious deserts will feature local favorite, Beren's Frozen Custards. No matter what your menu preferences are, you will always find something you love at Gary's.

In addition to the extraordinarily original menu, Gary's Bistro also houses a stylish and sophisticated wine bar with approximately 100 varietals. Gary's Bistro features a 24-tap Cruvinet Dispensing System, one of the largest Cruvinet Systems in Georgia. This specialized system preserves wines so that they remain as fresh once they are uncorked for up to six weeks. The most significant benefit of the Cruvinet System is that it provides the opportunity for wine clientele to sample varietals before purchasing a glass or bottle. Cruvinet Systems are widely used by international wine experts for effectively preserving fine wines. In addition to great wines, Bar Manager and talented Mixologist, Crystal Smith, will be offering a superb selection of Brew, Wine, and After Dinner Cocktails, including the World Famous "Banana Hammock".

Gary's Bistro is family owned by Gary Martin Hays, his wife Sheri and three daughters, Audrey, Ashleigh and Ava. Hays is a well known, successful Attorney and one of the owners of the Gwinnett Gladiators, the professional ice hockey team. Hays has a strong belief in civic responsibilities and is very supportive and active in his community. He is also the founder of "Keep Georgia Safe", an organization whose mission is to provide safety education and crime prevention training in Georgia. Civic service projects will be a top priority at Gary's, and this charitable quality will distinguish Gary's Bistro as a true "neighborhood" friend.

Future plans for the Bistro include in-house and on-premise catering that specializes in buffet and plated wine dinners. Gary's Bistro will be a family-friendly attribute for the Greater Eastside Community and you never know what surprises may await you there.
